Hi guys, we’ve played our wildcard this week due to a number of issues in our squad. With Ruben Loftus Cheek injured we really had to think about what we were to do with ourselves. Discounting RLC, Morata being ruled out, Elliot constantly having knocks, Masuaku getting a 6 game ban, Alli being shite, Kabasele defending his side’s porous performances more than defending in matches. A number of our players had dropped out of contention and we’ve brought in more nailed on options as well as players which are likely to bring in big point tallies this week.
4.02 + 4.53 + 5.4 + 4.86 + 4.59 + 12.78 + 6.19 +6.04 + 5.80 + 4.56 + 3.74 = 62.51 points this week!
Alex McCarthy = 4.02
Southampton’s stopper has come in to the side this week after replacing the error prone Fraser Forster. The former England U21 stopper could make the place his own, and if he shows some of the form he showed for Reading back in the day he could be a shrewd signing.
Nacho Monreal = 4.53
Nicolas Otamendi = 5.4
Andreas Christensen = 4.86
Joe Gomez = 4.59
Eden Hazard (C) – (6.39 x 2) = 12.78
Mohamed Salah = 6.19
It is about time we brought in Salah. After risking going for Mané earlier in the season we’ve missed out on a lot of value. At 6.19 he is a solid captain choice week in week out.
Raheem Sterling = 6.04
Sergio Aguero = 5.80
Roberto Firmino = 4.56
Mame Biram Diouf = 3.74
Mame has played OOP as a right wing back this season, and last week he played up top for Lambert and scored. It is fair to say the former Molde and Man United man could start playing in his natural position when his competition is Peter Crouch and Saido Berahino.
Rob Elliot = 3.80
Mason Holgate = 3.69
Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson = 3.24
Luka Milivojević = 3.33
The chap takes a wicked penalty.
